Mobile Phones: The mobile telephone providers on Tiree are Vodafone, O2 and EE. If you use another provider that subcontracts to either of these main providers you may get a service. The aerial is about 0.5 miles from the cottage and is clearly visible at the top of another hill. Be aware that EE. is for customers with a contract only.

On a Wednesday lunchtime you can see the Clansman exiting the Gunna Sound and making it’s way West towards Barra and then in the late afternoon returning to Tiree before going on to Coll and Oban.

Directions: Turn right at T junction at the end of the pier road towards Balephetrish. Continue on this road passing Balephetrish Beach and The Old Mill (9km). Pass Loch Bhassapol on your left then take the first left signposted for Kilmoluaig and continue along this small road and take the next left. Follow the road and it will start to go up a hill. The cottage is visible at the top of the hill (12km).
